Can a vintage or modern watch face convey emotion? Yes! Sure, you could use a typical emoticon or banal wordage to describe how you feel, but wouldn't the world be a better place if you used a watch face instead? Well, we are going to find out! Any Excuse for the End of the World
According to the ancient Mayans paired with conspiracy theorists and completely legitimate, scientific websites everywhere, the world was supposed to end on December 21, 2012. Since I am writing this on December 23, I can somewhat assure you that it did not. But don't let this get you down! There are plenty more chances for the the world to end, starting with tomorrow, the new last date, December 24. After months of panic surrounding the end of the Mayan calendar's 13th baktun on 12-21-12, German researcher, Nikoali Grube is now telling the world that it turns out it's kind of hard to match up modern calendars with ancient Mayan predictions and the 13th baktun will probably end on Christmas Eve instead. It's okay Nikoali, we know that these are very tricky matters and anyone could have made such a little mistake. So brace yourself for the new, and much less catchy end of the world date, 12-24-12!
